I love the Gorges du Verdun specially in summer and specially by motorcycle.... so as I do every year I went scratching the foot pegs of my GS on the tarmac of the 'rive gauche' .... with a dream of a juicy 'galette de sarassin' in the lovely village of Aiguines, a typical Provençal place overlooking the Lac of Saint Croix. This is a sort of pilgrimage for me since I went to this little cozy place many many times. Once parked my bike outside the place I have figured out that the restaurant was renewed and I was surprised by a board saying 'we start serving food from 19:30 god willing' .... I thought this was a sarcastic welcome but when I entered the shop at 19:00 I was welcomed by a wannabe...
We arrived there, we waited 5 minutes standing at the entrance, waiting for someone to care about us. Note that this whole time the waiter was talking next to us with Two clients! He didn't care about us till my boyfriend decided to go inside to ask for information. At that point this waiter interrupted himself and said to my boyfriend to stop, he asked what we wanted and after looking around(note there were like 4 empty tables) told us that the place was full GIGGLING! So irrispenctful! 5 minuets later we saw another couple going inside! I don't know if this old man thought that his restaurant was too fancy for us, for sure we were dressed better than him and his ego! This was a good chance...
very good cuisine, culinary pleasure. extraordinary atmosphere. My beautiful parents celebrate their 57th anniversary. The boss offered us coffee and digestive. good moments of rigolades especially for my beautiful mother. frankly if you want to spend a good relaxing moment it is ideal place. Don't change anything! Everything was perfect!
we enjoyed the terrace. The dishes prepared by Madame are tasteful and of quality. We enjoyed the stuffed, pork spider, peeladière and Crostini.Kitchen of quality family type. The boss is very good contact. We had a good time.

I was refused, I was alone, but more seats with 100 covered on the terrace and 50 in the empty interior.?the patroness not merchant.I can only give a disposable opinion.
Provence with all its positive is here! excellent cuisine, nice boss, the setting is cute. next to a road but not too much traffic, cute little village and quiet
