L'aoc - Table reservation

We were a group of 13 looking for a good local venue for a relaxing lunch at a reasonable price in the old part of Clermont . We contacted L’AOC in advance as it’s only a small restaurant and booking is needed for larger groups . They were very helpful ,proposing a menu for 30Euro each with a choice of 2 options for each course and some wine included , to help make our visit as relaxing as possible . The staff were really friendly as welcoming , the service was excellent and the food was excellent . Simple , perfectly presented and cooked . A great ‘local ‘experience

I congratulate this restaurant for food and location, with tables also on the road next to an ancient water shop still perfectly active I tasted the foie gras: excellent! Inside he had a sweetish black garlic vein. Even meat with or mushrooms (Ris de veau aux Morilles) was very good. The staff is professional and welcoming.

Good service, clean and tasty food that is basic, yet well prepared. A casual and relaxed atmosphere. The entree of black truffle velouté (if offered) is not to be missed.
