The outside of this restaurant is very unassuming. From the moment you enter inside, the experience is fabulous. With quality furnishings and beautiful artwork. Also, the space between each table allows for a much more private dinner à deux than in a lot of Parisian restaurants. We booked for dinner on a Tuesday evening with the Menu Tentation with wine pairing. Every course was a delight and the accompanying wines perfect. We received beautiful service from Sophie and her team. Merci beaucoup! It was a really nice touch that we were able to speak to the Chef at the end of our evening. We would highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely return in the future.
We stopped here for the lunch tasting menu on our last day in Paris and it was a great way to finish our trip. The food was creative and absolutely delicious. The service was good (although our server was young and seemed incredibly nervous he seemed like he was maybe training). I also did the wine pairing although I would probably do a glass instead since the final wine was a sweet wine which are not my favorite. The interior is a bit dated with carpeted floors but the food makes up for that! Highly recommend.
I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We were there to celebrate a 45th wedding anniversary and 70th birthday 6 long time friends from Sarasota Florida meeting in Paris for this milestone event. Sophie, the front of the house and “Chef” gave us a 9 course tasting menu that we will never forget. They went out of their way to accommodate us and we will never forget this amazing meal.
We had the Tentation tasting menu. The dishes we had not only have a wonderful mix of tastes but also are presented in artistic fashions. I often left many Michelin restaurants feeling hungry, but L'Arcane offers enough variety of foods with a great artistic tasting experience.
