This is an excellent place to eat for those who like a quiet, intimate atmosphere. Rather than order from the menu we chose the specials as suggested by le patron and they both tasted fantastic. As other reviewers have commented the owner pretty much does everything himself but it made for a great experience which included seeing him put the ingredients together and cooking our food.
We tried this place as we knew it many years ago, with a different owner. The present owner does everything, but is a good cook, with an interesting menu. He is extremely obliging, and our food was tasty and just what we wanted that particular evening. I hope he does well.
