Make sure to start with the sangria—both the white and red options are outstanding! They have fresh fruit, taste just right—not too sweet and not too strong—but they’ll definitely sneak up on you! The shrimp appetizer, Camarao ao Alho, features delicious shrimp in a flavorful sauce with just the right amount of spice. I've visited multiple times, and each time I try a different entree; everything I've had has been fantastic. Absolutely amazing! This was some of the best food I’ve had in Mineola. My wife and I visited to celebrate our IVF journey, and the owner, Pedro, took the time to chat with us about our celebration. He was incredibly kind. I would return just to support his restaurant. As for the food, it was outstanding! We tried the cognac shrimp, which was delicious. I ordered the whole branzino, while my wife enjoyed the duck, which was the highlight of our meal. Everything was simply excellent. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Pedro!
I dined in for dinner and was impressed. The price per person was around $20–30, which is reasonable given the quality. Both the food and service received a perfect 5 stars from me, and the atmosphere was equally enjoyable. I highly recommend trying the Chourico; it’s a standout dish. As for parking, there’s plenty available, with free street parking options. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!
