As a Filipino living overseas and longing for authentic pinoy home-made meals, Larry's Restaurant was a piece of heaven in the heart of beautiful Lubeck. Manned by the friendliest staff, the guests are also greeted warmly by no other than Larry himself. We came as a family (group) and even my picky toddler loved the lumpia and ukoy! Every dish we tried was superb. I highly recommend their kare-kare, crispy pata and chicken rebosado. They also have hard to find Filipino beers that would surely remind every Filipino at heart of home. We will back, over and over again! Thank you Larry and staff for a wonderful experience!
We went there on a quiet Friday night and enjoyed EVERYTHING. It was my partner's birthday and so we decided to give Larry's a try. We honestly DID NOT regret it. The food was amazing: the fried Calamari were nice and tender (huge portion for an entree though , the chicken Adobo was crisp and tasty and also the sizzling pan with tofu simply topped our expectations. Thanks for the lovely evening there. We will be back for sure : The waiters and the owner himself are lovely peeps! :D
What a find! It is very close to the old center of Lübeck, Larry pulls all stops with a rich variety of spicy dishes, some of the dishes come sizzling. The portion size was spot on the staff supply the dishes and then invited us to say only if we want more, we think is to serve instead huge portions that other reviewers have mentioned. The dishes were excellent, best beef spring rolls ever! Great wines and fun service This restaurant is very popular and we deliver again!!
Visited for dinner with some work colleagues. I've never tried Filipino food before but can now report that it's lovely! Served by Larry, who was exceptionally friendly and really looked after us. Very relaxed atmosphere and not at all pretentious just my kind of place! Definitely recommended and I'll definitely be back when I'm in Luebeck again.
