I had a disappointing experience at this bar. The male bartender was inattentive and exhibited a passive-aggressive attitude. When I tried to inform a female bartender, who is of mixed white and Asian descent, that her cocktail mixing was causing a spray to hit patrons at the bar, she dismissed my concern. Her response was that it was to be expected when sitting at a bar in such a small space. I suggested she be more mindful and turn around while mixing, but she asserted that she was fully aware of what she was doing and continued to do it anyway. It’s clear that they don’t care about their patrons’ experience here. They definitely deserve the one-star review.
The place is very beautiful and discreet , love the vibe and the music . The drinks were really good ! But the food was MID , nothing to go crazy about , we had the guac and chips , which have used some salt . The oxtails j shrimp with was cool , but the rice and peas were bland as hell no fluffy traditional texture and or any hints of coconut milk just bland . The j chicken egg roll was probably the star as I could not find anything wrong it . Would come back for a happy hour .

Tyrone and Alice at the bar were amazing! The service was outstanding, and the Caribbean food was the best I've had in New York. I highly recommend it. Most importantly, the music was fantastic—featuring Frank Ocean, Pharrell, and Anderson .Paak—creating the perfect atmosphere. Thank you both!
This charming little restaurant has lovely decor, and the food was absolutely delicious. The drinks were enjoyable; I just wish they were a bit stronger. Overall, I would definitely visit again!
Very nice crowd and the music was awesome. The overall vibe was calm and the food was good. Note: It's a little hard to find, because there is no signage or address on the front!

Gets very busy and seating area quite small but the the food is really good I had the j shrimp salad and it was delicious. As were the patties.
