It was very near to my new house. the first time I bought here, it was a 2 viands of my choice, 1 rice, 1 softdrink in can that I had. it costed 15$ for 1 pc of BBQ, and small serving of Humba. They both tasted good. reminded me of my mom's cooking. However the portion was too small and mostly bones. No meat at all for humba.I decided to gave it a try again the other day. I bought the same order of 2 viands, 1 rice and 1 softdrink again. But the same seller only asked me to pay 12$.. Humba still tasted the same. The dinuguan doesn't taste the same as the dinuguan that I am used to eating way back in Philippines.- Hence, I did not enjoy it.Positive:The humba tasted really good.Negative:*The c...

Ambiance is alright...truly Pinoy atmosphere...but the food...terrible! Their pork sinigang is awful, (I can cook so I know what Im talking about!). I also ordered tortang talong...again awful in taste. And their pork bbq is so dry I thought was recycled from days ago! With the kind of taste they serve, I myself will not appreciate Pinoy food! And their price is way way expensive compared to other Pinoy restaurants. One reviewer is right, their cook better think twice before cooking again!!!

Whilst the restaurant is simple in set up, the food is delicious. A family run restaurant where you can really tell the food is cooked with love. We had chicken adobo, crispy pata (which is pork) and steamed rice. We were not exactly sure what to expect as we hadn't had Filipino food before, but we were not disappointed as the meat just fell off the bone for both the chicken and the pork, and the pork had very crispy skin. I can't wait to come back.

It's an authentic filipino carenderia and not your posh restaurant. This carenderia has also authentic pinoy atmosphere and serves 12 of the most popular filipino dishes, e.g. adobo, pinakbet, kaldereta, sisig, etc. Best of all they also serve halo-halo and a very pinoy beverage sago-gulaman.The restaurant is a 30-minute train ride from CBD and 2-minute walk from the St Albans train station.
