we spend a few days in cassis at the end of our holidays. In view of the commercial and tourist nature of the harbour boulevard and its restaurants, we have tried to find a cozy, pleasant and qualitatiw high-quality restaurant in the towns narrow restaurants. L’atelier traiture is definitiw. this place! we were greeted by franck who took the time to come to us, explain the menu in much detail (see it about 10min) and gave us an appetizer on the house. I started a discussion about seasoned and he brought us happy different types of salt and paprika from all over the world to taste. I took the braided beef that was beaten in a 20-h cook marathon and my gf took the meer brass. splendid food! th...

the place is really picturesque, on a quiet road away from the masses. we thought we had a winner here. the menu looked exciting and interesting when you wanted to use the bathroom, it apperas that the restaurant owner all-singing all-dancing koch, bar...staff, waiter, sommelier all works in one! i.e. only one worker works! that's good, as it wasn't particularly busy, nor was it a big restaurant, but it seems the owner wanted to chat only with the client while eating was cooking so that these transpires, as eating everything was pre-cooked and simply heated up. the fish tasted good, but ratatouille on everything! I'm sorry, but for the money I expected more.

We found this little restaurant in a pedestrian street behind the touristy harbour. The owner came outside to explain the menu when he saw us reading the menu. We shared 2 fish dishes which were lovely. The first (John Dory) was the better although cheaper...by €10 , served with vegetables in a fennel sauce. We were the only diners and the chef entertained us in good English the whole meal.

Very good restaurant and good quality price. The driveway is very quiet and friendly owners. I prefer this type of restaurant than the big restaurants placed on the places that sell you the same for twice as expensive.
