What a find this little restaurant was!!! We are so happy we found it!! We were so down as we had had a bad meal on the touristy port, and so we asked a local where they recommended. And they said, For a beautiful meal,...go to L 'atelier Traiteur. It 's small but quite wonderful. And it really, really was. It 's just a small restaurant (and traiteur shop) on a pedestrian street, and we almost passed it! The meal was delicious and the chef and owner was very warm, spoke great English (though I speak French) with my family, and is exceptionally talented in the kitchen. We had a very enjoyable entertaining 3 hour dinner here. Two entrees, two plats and two desserts. My wife had the caprese salad, the tomatoes, several local varieties brought in by the chef that day were served whole, so that she could cut them and...not lose any of the flavor . I had the fish of the day, it was good and a large portion. My wife had the cous cous, a huge portion. The owner was attentive and entertaining. He introduced us to the French couple seated next to us partway through the meal, (they were a course ahead of us). the place is really picturesque, on a quiet road away from the masses. we thought we had a winner here. the menu looked exciting and interesting when you wanted to use the bathroom, it apperas that the restaurant owner all-singing all-dancing koch, bar...staff, waiter, sommelier all works in one! i.e. only one worker works! that's good, as it wasn't particularly busy, nor was it a big restaurant, but it seems the owner wanted to chat only with the client while eating was cooking so that these transpires, as eating everything was pre-cooked and simply heated up. the fish tasted good, but ratatouille on everything! I'm sorry, but for the money I expected more.

this restaurant is located directly opposite where we were. it had a great feeling about it. not touristy, not complicated, great menu. the steak was absolutely amazing. the best thing I had in France and the fish also fantastic. the owner. the chief and the waiter and went out of the way to take care of us. highly recommended.

We went there two times and took courses to take away. Fine products from Provence and Italy. The owner is welcoming. Very useful as few restaurants propose take-away services. Try the goat cheese.
It's a ratatouille dish with a good cod. Ratatouille is actually just eggplants.. The fish is not well seasoned and is not very good.
