the restaurant was advised by our host who, as he said, goes there for special occasions. but he added, it is normal good to the region and not fantasies. he was right. we enjoyed a great menu among the trees with a...Overview of the weinberge and were amazed how unpredictable the whole was. that was great. I enjoy the rabbit and my wife laughs. the menu of the day also looked great. we went there to lunch after the market in vaison and found a well-mixed quantity of local and occasional tourist. I advise you to reserve a table in advance and ask a table among the trees. the terrace is under a plastic roof and can be hot!
This place is an institution. Turn up at Noon or make sure to have a booking in the season. ser lunch offered , includes pichet of the Domaine's wine, a quiche to start , entrecote and frites, choce of puddings. Entrecote is always...Tuesdays, set menu varies , ie Wednesday may always be grilled Chicken. Excellent friendly fast service. Excellent value and standard of cuisine- Faultless. A must if inthe area. N.b Tuesday is market day in Vaison, hence always busy.
the atmosphere is essentially Provencal at l’aubuerge d’anais. sitting under the olive and kiefern under the vines is very especially the view is breathtaking. eating is modern Provencal hard to choose, because everything is delicious. the mille feuille de tomates and...fish was especially good. the desserts are fresh and light. very good. merci beaucoup! we had a great time.
A friend of mine invited me there for lunch and I was a bit doubtful as I could not get it on my GPS! Found the place and ate outside a good steak with Roquefort sauce while my friend took the menu of the day......Dishes are tasty, price is at the low end which makes the place a must go! Do not hesitate and the inside of the place is really beautiful... Go there!
