An exceptional experience!! We arrive in this small town unplanned. Having been advised by Brittany Ferry to travel from Roscoff to Calais due to strikes, we broke down south of Rouen. We were picked up on Sunday lunchtime and brought with our caravan to the nearest village. Being Sunday everything wad closed but our saviour had recommended this solace. We strolled through the dead village and by pure fluke this place was open!!!! We went in at 15.45 to be refused by the waiter!!! Then our luck changed dramatically; the Mlitre d' arrived and the rest is history. He said 'once you're in my house all problems will be resolved'!!! Staying at local hotel en route back to our French home. Hotel gave us a card for the restaurant as theirs was closed. It turned out to be a beautiful place with outside terrace, the menu was varied and the food was a real delight.The owner and also the chef was very friendly with fault less English, worth the trip for this meal alone.
The atmosphere was fantastic, the service was wonderful and the food divine. A very real authentic French experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant
