It isn't easy to find but this Auberge lies in the beautiful countryside of Burgundy and it was a real surprise. It's a family run business: the husband is the cook and the wife is the maitre. We took two menus plaisir and drank two beers. The dishes were very well executed, Mrs Nathalie was very gentle and able to serve at the table effectively. The kitchen is absolutely commendable: not to be missed!

The meal which followed was a joy to experience as was the wine. We'd strongly recommend this one.

The wine list is limited but with a couple of good choices. Only problem: in the middle of Charolais, where you expect the best beef in Europe… the rumpsteak was far from tender…
