This restaurant is a hidden gem and serves fantastic and regional food. As it is situated in the region known from the goat cheese (crottin de chavignol), we chose to have some dishes which featured this nice cheese and have it accompanied by a nice white Sauvignon Blanc. We had an amazing lunch. The restaurant itself breaths the region and the way it is decorated, you can see that this restaurant is there for a long time already. A very friendly host served us and the time in between the dishes was very right. Please note that you can pay cash (or French cheques) only, no credit cards or bank cards accepted! A must go if you are in the region!
pleasant discovery because we do not arrive at the pellet inn by chance, the site being away from the departmental road. nice setting, rustic decor with very beautiful old peasant tools. authentic welcome. many choices of dishes that rotate mostly around the goat's crottin. It's good, it's local food. little wines, locals, and the one we enjoyed was very good. reasonable prices.
super menu "every goat" excellent. a dedicated child menu. good local bottles (including discovering respect for nickel barrier gestures (do not forget your sanitary pass) note: no cb, do not forget to take liquid before coming.
