This restaurant is our favorites one, everytime we went back to our village in Brouchaud to take a rest in our Little house. Traditional cuisines, so from apero (wine of the house really nice and foie gras home made main menu (really nice local...white fish) or other main menu really nice too desert and coffee. it is around Euro for persons. We always there in between our mountain bike treck or just for lunch and dinner with our parent. nice place out side and inside, friendly atmosphere with family owner.... really pleasant place.

Saw this on a drive out last week and keen to try it its about an hour from where we live in the Correze. Very friendly welcome, lovely shady table in the courtyard. Had the bistro menu at quiche lorraine, steak and...chips and a peach melba. The chips were a bit greasy, but otherwise very nice. We would like to come back one day and hit the a la carte! Right next to lovely church and a chateau which has a notice on the door to say that it is open some afternoons, just ring the bell, no photos!

Situated near(ish) Thenon, a left turn off the road from Périgueux to the village of Ajat, this restaurant by the ancient château is well worth a visit. A friendly host, good menu and food to match, a place to linger over a glass of wine...or two if not driving. Would go again if in the area.

we had a nice evening on the spacious terrace with few puppies. great eating and a pleasant, funny waiter who wanted to practice his English. to the happiness we wanted to practice our French, so we all learned something.
