So if you are not from the area, it could be a little difficult finding the restaurant. Lucky for me we were following my girlfriend and she lives in the town of Osses. From the outside it is cute. It has an outside terrace and lucky us there was an empty table and we grabbed it. It was a perfect day to sit outside. It was the last day of the village festivals and the final lunch was at Etxeko Borda. So there were lots of locals there, but not over crowded. The ambiance and service was great because everybody new everybody. Since it was the end of the festival we did not get a menu. We were all going to be served the same meal. Il faut dépasser Ossès puis le village de montagne Ahaice et vous allez trouver une auberge qui fait aussi chambre d'hôtes.Grande salle surtout réservée aux groupes.Réserver avant.
Plats simples, complets, produits frais. Lieu authentique, loin de la foule de touristes. Accueil chaleureux typique basque. Bon rapport qualité/prix.
