Visit here with my hubby on regular early mornings.....breakfasts are beautifully cooked with good quality food.Hubby really enjoys them.Poached eggs are just perfectly done(not snotty and not hard....just right).Fish finger batch and salad is yummy and the cheese on toast.Hot chocs are yummy too.Moved to Balsall Common in November 2017 and have been using the cafe regularly for about six months now.It is not only for anglers fishing there anyone can use the cafe anglers or not.The staff are all extremely pleasant and friendly. The grounds are in beautiful setting and the hanging baskets and flowers are beautiful.....a lovely place to relax over breakfast. We would recommend this cafe.

Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. I had large breakfast that came with 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 eggs, plum tomato, beans and two slices of toast. I added 2 hash brown which was an additional 60p each I think. Complete with cup of tea think it was either £9.20 or £9.40, bit expensive compared to other places of in Coventry. Very tasty though and would eat there again. The road into the Café watch out for the pot holes. Take your time driving down the old dirt track and it gets narrow in some places on a bend. Place started filling up after we got there at 09:20. Take a walk round the fishing lakes too. Well kept. Tackle shop inside entrance to café

It was certainly worth the walk. Having not been before and simply going off a general search for a cafe somewhere near our walk. What a lovely location, nicely hidden off the main road, was a great sight to see at the end of the track. With the lakes close at hand. Can’t say anything about any other food offered, but the breakfast was really good, not greasy and hot and just the right size as a reward for our walk and to set us up for the walk home. The staff were so nice and friendly. We will certainly be back, as it was a cold day in early March and sure it will be even nicer to sit outside with a bit of sunshine.

We waited 30 mins for our cooked breakfast, for only a single round of toast to turn up. We were prepared to wait a little longer, if someone named Tom, could guarantee it was on the way. Instead, he turned this situation round to accuse us of 'not being very nice ' to a server and was quite confrontational. At this point, we decide to ask for our money and leave. Although the breakfasts are mediocre, we 've always enjoyed the seclusion of this place, whilst supporting their small catering business....not, no more though. Book a table now

I recently visited this cafe with a group of cyclists and ordered a large coffee with hot milk. I was surprised to find out that it cost £4.10! When I asked the server about the price, she explained that it was because I ordered a large coffee. The price was higher than what I would expect from a well-known coffee shop and the quality was not as good. I ended up paying the price but felt frustrated and couldn't understand why it was so expensive. - Steven Stansfield

We frequent this restaurant for breakfast most weekends...okay, sometimes even twice. The women who run it are always friendly and welcoming. The food is always cooked perfectly and served just as we like it. And to top it off, the prices are the most affordable we've found for a breakfast. I truly believe this place can't be beat.

I recently visited this charming cafe for the first time and I can confidently say it won't be my last! The tea cakes were delicious and the coffee was excellent. It was a perfect stop after a long walk with my dog from Coventry. The staff was very friendly and they were following all covid guidelines.

The food was not fresh and I will not be returning to this restaurant. I used to come here often, but now I will not be returning. Sincerely, Graham
