We enjoyed lunch at this waterfront restaurant on a sunny September day. We chose to sit in the conservatory area where it was warm enough to have the doors open making it semi-outdoors. My partner enjoyed a huge portion of moules mariniere with a generous bowl of frites. I went for a salad at 14.50 euros and was pleasantly surprised by a massive bowl heaped with prawns and a variety of smoked fish garnished with lemon and hard boiled egg. I have a strong dislike of mustard and trying to get some other kind of dressing with no mustard in it seemed to confuse them! I don't mind a tiny BIT in mayonnaise but not a full-on mustard flavoured mayo which I was offered as an alternative to a mustard...

We went to this restaurant this weekend, we didn’t book however they were able to make space for us. Unfortunately some sort of hen party had booked a very large table at the bottom of the restaurant and were extremely loud, banging, shouting, singing and chatting for a whole 2 hours we were there! They also did the conga twice right round the restaurant and on the second occasion trampled a dog which was sat with a family, standing on the dog who looked terrified afterwards, the party took over the whole restaurant no sh*ts given! I appreciate this is not the restaurants fault, however nothing was done to attempt to calm them down the restaurant just let them get on with it ruining everyone...

We visited this restaurant last night, after staying in gravel line for a couple of nights before the Eurotunnel back to the UK. We ate mussels , chicken in brie and mushroom sauce with chips and salad, and chocolate mousse and an ice cream Sundae. This was all washed down with a couple of beers and more than a couple of glasses of excellent vino! The Sun was shining, we sat in the conservatory with really comfortable chairs and gorgeous surroundings overlooking the river. The waiter and waitress were really friendly, really helpful, and just generally lovely. We literally couldn’t fault this restaurant. It was the last night of our holiday, and we had the best ! night we could possibly have...

Stopped here for lunch on a hot day. We had a couple of salads... they were huge and packed with all the good stuff that the menu promised. Desert was equally delicious. What really stood out here was the quality of service. The staff were on the ball and friendly... truly service with a smile. I would come again.
