On our way back from Giverny, we stopped in Vernon to see the sites. Vernon is cutesy; we spent a pleasant few hours there. While looking for an eatery that was recommended to us and could not find it, we came across Le 20 Heures Vin. It was a very hot day and decided to go in and order several beers and food; however the kitchen was closed and ordered light bites. The waiter was quite friendly and did not speak one word of English. We started a conversation with a local patron who spoke little English and was helpful as to what to see and do in Vernon. It's a place to hang out w/friends over food and drinks.
