Le 37 - Table reservation

We had tried to make a reservation at "Gill" for dinner but they completely booked. The hotel recommended Le 37, which is owned by the same person. The meal was outstanding as was the service. We could not have been better pleased. Upon arrival at 7:30, we had the restaurant to ourselves. It started filling up Clyde to 8:00. When we left close to 9:00 there may have been two available. tables. The menu is limited with three starters and three 2nd plates and three desserts. I doubt there were any bad choices. I was lucky to meet a local French who recommended me this restaurant and went there with me on my last day in France - it's a lot better and easier than me going alone as he speaks French. We ordered steak and fish and some entrees to share. The steak is excellent - the quality of the meat is really good. The price is very reasonable. The place is cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended to anyone in Rouen, local or visitors.

We visited on 4th December with a party of friends. The place is quite small and cosy, and the food was excellent - very original dishes, carefully prepared. The service was competent, the waiters very pleasant, and the house wine very good value.All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our evening here and I would highly recommend it.

This restaurant is very well run with a short and interesting menu. Reasonable prices considering the quality dinners. Just a true French dining experience. Four different entrees and no disappointments. Make reservations, because it is very popular.

Small menu reflects the care and attention they pay to each dish. Very friendly staff .. good wines... excellent food.
