The food was excellent as was the table, however the service......The wait between the starters, 3 cold soups and a cold salmon was very long until the main course arrived which was 2 steak Tartars, one salade Nicoise, a plate of pasta and a fish dish.Service was poor at best despite having 4 people in service in a restaurant far from busy. I did complain to the senior person available, who replied he thought we would be difficult about the service and was waiting. Congratulation to the former "sous-chef", Rémi Sauvageot, who is now leading the team at the Restaurant 45. I travel a lot and often have the opportunity to go to so-called "famous restaurants"... and am mostly disappointed by the fact all those restaurants serve some kind of standard food, covering the real taste of food with butter, salt and other complicated sauces, focus on the look and not food, to please an international crowd used to it. Dont miss out book this restaurant , any dish you cant go wrong . Service and food outstanding . Do you self a favor dont sit right at a window , sit bak one you will have a better view. We had both experiences and we really enjoyed not being right at the window and you could look up and see the mountains and the lake. Have fun with the menu, I like to try everything , first not I got a main entree fish it was very good . Don't know how they got Michelin recommendations. Awful service. They served the appertizers, but didn't bring the wine with it. By the way the tartar was absolutely untasty. Then they brought me meat which was impossible to chew (I returned it to the waiter as it was uneatable and asked for the bill. In the bill they counted this meat (I didn't eat a peace - just tried and instantly returned to the waiter), so they wanted me to pay for the dish I didn't even had... Terrible food and disgusting service. Try to avoid this restaurant. Also I'll write a letter to hotel management, it is a shame they have such a restaurant.

When coming to Switzerland we would always stop at the Suisse Majestic hotel and had a chance to try food at Restaurant le 45. My parents, especially my dad absolutely loved this place. Their steaks and chicken are amazing, and the bowl that they serve their ceasar salad in is enormous. Moreover, the view on the Montreux promenade and city is astonishing. Loved it!
Doesn 't even deserve a star. Racially rejected my friend from entering the restaurant. Upon me complaining on another platform, the excuse was essentially sorry for the miss understanding . This is not OK take accountability, give a proper apology, and hold people responsible. Don 't deny people 's experiences.
Just had to try the restaurant as we were staying at the hotel and we were not disappointed. We had a wonderful meal with a lovely view of the sun setting over Lake Geneva. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was first class.
Wow what a view! The food was good and the service was efficient. Price was a little steep but not as much as at the Fairmont. But then again we did not see any celebrities.
