Since moving to the area in July we have visited this restaurant fortnightly for either lunch or dinner and have not had a bad meal yet, they have all been excellent. The staff are very friendly (and speak excellent English and dogs are allowed (either on the terrace or inside the restaurant . The set 4 course lunch is excellent value, 13,50€ including wine as is the evening set menu (I think this is about 26€ . Everything is delicious,beautifully cooked and presented. We took friends who stayed with us here for dinner and they couldn't believe the standard of the food in a small French village. Went with friends for our first visit. Our friends are regulars and I fully understand why. Chose from the reasonably priced fixed price menu. Beautiful food and great service. Only slight critisism was the rhubarb crumble lacked a little in flavour my fault for choosing an essentially English dish at a French restaurant! Otherwise faultless.
Lots of local takeway customers, creative dishes that go far beyond the humble appearance of this small village restaurant. The duck confit burger is to die for, as is the chocolate and caramel browny which was obviously made on the spot. Avoid the terrace (can be fairly noisy), friendly and helpful staff.
we have a dinner on the restaurant side (there is a brewery side with burgers) and we have been filled with this little restaurant without pretention but with a homemade cuisine sought and delicious for a correct price. We recommend you book! Book a table now
Love the atmosphere of the restaurant and the staff are fabulous. However, you go for the food and this was also delightful. Staff happy to explain translate the menu for us with ‘limited’ French ! Highly recommended.
