OK we arrived at 2.30 looking for lunch, but doesn't affect the shabby tables, flooring, seats which weren't just suffering from this seasons wear and tear but several years lack of maintenance. You could almost forgive the 2 girls working there for being fed up near the end of service and end of the season. But the mussels were disgusting, probably cooked 3 hours previously and left to stew and in a country where you learn to turn a blind eye to chipped crockery the Beach won gold for having the nerve to still be using those big shell platters, they were done. Awful, awful place, even the shandy tasted gross.
Beverages must be low. because neither aspect nor taste really match: orangina, classic schweppes, orange juice. long coffee cup all covered with coffee having sunk not very pros, but very welcoming and friendly staff, top!
At the Beach Cafe, you can have nice food, like pizza's (freshly prepared), meat and fish for a moderate price. It is nice also to enjoy an ice cream on the terasse in the sun with a gentle sea breeze...
Very well, service a little long but understandable. I'll be right back.
