We sat outside on the terrace. We were shown to a table, given menus then left for sometime. The waiter was brusque and pretended not to understand our French, which is perfectly adequate for restaurants. The service was slow, food not up to a high quality. We waited a long time to pay a different waiter took our payment. As we were leaving our waiter came after us because he thought we hadn’t paid. An expensive and not enjoyable experience. This is a tourist destination the restaurant should be welcoming and polite. This was not our experience.
Lovely restaurant au bord de la mer. We wanted an unfussy dinner relatively quickly and we went for the ubiquitous sole meunière, but we weren’t disappointed. It was quite delicious, fresh as a daisy, perfectly cooked, delicate sauce, expertly served and executed extremely expensive as the cost is based upon the weight of the fish. Service was sweet attentive and funny. We liked this place, but because we had so many other delightful restaurants to try, we couldn’t return. It’s very good.
Looking for somewhere to eat on a very windy day e choose this restaurant solely because the terrace had some shelter. We were surprised to be able to get a proper meal at 4 pm on a Sunday and the food proved to be tasty and well cooked.
This place is conveniently located in the center of town, with a large outdoor dining area. The seafood is very fresh and is locally sourced. Service was attentive. The comprehensive platters were very generous.
