Lovely late October evening and the family 7 adults 2 kids (10 7) wanted pizza and pasta. Being tourists, you walk around and smell in the aromas coming from the restaurants and look at people’s plates of food as they are served. We saw the pizzas and my 10 year old said ‘are we eating here?’. It was decided we would and due to the warm evening was able to sit outside. The waitress was very helpful and took our order. Its a big Italian restaurant open long hours so we have used it several times before or after concerts or opera. Standard sort of international Italian menu. This time we received an exceptionally warm and attentive welcome from our waiter whose name was Lucca. Escalope milanese and spaghetti bolognese all correct. I think my Italian friends would have said that there was too much sauce on the pasta, but my wife loved it.

Nice terrace, extremely good pizza (and burrata... , a bit room for improvement: service at the table was ok-ish... I had to ask several times if I could order... otherwise really tasteful. carpacio with burrata was made with excellent multicolour tomatoes, fresh basilic and the burrata... my god, delicious. The bread served with the burrata was also just delightful...
