We had a terrific meal at Le Bistro des Fleurs. I think we got the last reservation for the night. Our meal began began with a complimentary vegetable terrine--delicious. My husband then had the three course prix fixe meal with a delicious salad for appetizer, fresh fish with a side of polenta and ratatouille for a main course and chocolate mousse for dessert. Classical french bistro with good food and wine. I have jumped in for rather quick lunch with a group of 9. They have a lunch offer with salad, bread, main course, a desert and a glass of wine for 21E - a very good price, having in mind that the mains are selected from decent dishes like tuna, steak, beef tartar and others - not a cheap ones. Having read the tripadvisor reviews we booked this restaurant and were not disappointed. There is a short menu of a few dishes for each course but we didn’t struggle to find something to enjoy. Our party had melon and ham, smoked salmon and goats cheese...salad for starters. Followed by cod for main and the best chocolate mousse for dessert. Outside seating and pleasant service with help for our poor French. A must go to if you are visiting Vernon.
We were delighted to come across this great restaurant while staying in Vernon. The food and service were both very good. We sat out the back, on a very pretty and quiet street. The menu was in French so we weren't sure exactly what we were ordering, but it was all delicious and very good quality. While not cheap, I'd say it was excellent value for money.

Good food in Vernon is difficult to find. Try "Le Bistro des Fleurs" on rue Carnot! This is an unpretentious place where the pretty lady cooks and her friendly husband and a good looking lad wait on you. You'll like the fresh food, simply prepared, nicely served, and tasty. Extra bonus: excellent French wines by the glass at an affordable price. Enhjoy!
The two days we walked by the restaurant it was fully booked by 7 PM thus get a reservation. An entre, a main plat and a dessert plus one glass of wine for 21€ is an excellent price plus the food was very good as...was the service. Our waiter was very patient with us explaining the various items on the small menu.
Whilst staying at a very disappointing B & B in the Pacy area I picked this little restaurant from tripadvisor and I was not disappointed. We had the most wonderful meal at a fantastic price - 3 courses (with plenty of choice) for 21 euros including a glass of wine! Excellent service and a great atmosphere.
Very nice place. Good quality of food: the fish was very good and fresh. Waiter very kind. Negative points: the dessert was not so good (the creme brule was cold) and the menu was only on French.

We were fortunate to walk in early and get a table. Many tables were reserved and we saw others walk in and get turned away for a lack of availability. The food was good and atmosphere friendly.
The bistro was friendly and the selection of food was enough to satisfy most tastes at a reasonable cost. Would definitely visit again.
