On a weekend in Nantes first time here. Checked menu in this restaurant early in the day & went back in the evening for a meal. What a lovely surprise. Lovely table settings upstairs. A very varied menu with great choice. But the highlight was the friendliness of our server Franck. He was the best I have come across in a long time. Professional efficient and most of all so very pleasant. Also great selection of cocktails. A really special evening & will without doubt recommend this restaurant as a place to eat in or just go for a cocktail
The staff were friendly and had time for us although it was busy. We had a choice of sitting inside or out under parasols or in the sun. There were four in our party and we all had something different - it was good food at a great price. I had a bacon burger - very tasty and cooked to perfection. My husband had plat du jour - cod in a delicious sauce. Our friends had a tasty salad and mussels. Everyone was satisfied.
We have been here for a dinner during a short stay in Nantes. As often happens, it is not easy to find waiters talking English, but we anyhow understood the menu.We had a quick dinner, but not so bad.We enjoyed the stay anyhow, because the atmosphere of the place was enjoyable.
Ordered steak and fries for two adults and one child and were served a patty shaped lump of rare **** mince. Not a steak but a mound of loosely formed steak mince. Tasteless and looked awful, we were hungry after travelling all day so we ate some of it; never again.

On a wet day, at a time most of Nantes cafes were not serving food (5 pm) we came upon this excellent place. Very helpful staff provided great customer service and the extensive menu meant all the family were well catered for. Fantastic value a wonderful find.
This was a lovely find. I had the Salade du Commerce which was amazing. Also got entertained by a fight in front of the Foot Locker but that's hardly the restaurant's responsibility! :D The staff were absolutely lovely and service was great; merci beaucoup!
Visited the restaurant a Friday night. Got table upstairs and a friendly staff quicly provided service. We ordered entrecote and Tagiatelle carbonara, and the food was good. Several things on the meny to choose from Recommend the bistro
Very busy place in a great location. Our food was very nice, ordered chicken with gorgonzola and very tasty tuna steak with sweet potato and passion friut sauce. Service very quick and friendly.

Great burgers, the entrecôte was good and do try the veal stew! Fast and service minded staff. Go, Gabriel! :) Name changed to Cafe du Commerce last year.
Nice restaurant with nice prices for typical French plates like "moules frites". Staff is very friendly and they have a large terrace.
