Le Bistrot - Table reservation

My wife and I have stayed at L 'Etang du Moulin several times in the last 10 years. From a chance recommendation it has been our hotel of choice on our trips between England and Switzerland for its quiet location, walking opportunities, staff friendliness, accommodation and dining not necessarily in this order. Dining is not cheap but a price range of menus is offered; quality and presentation have been (to us) irreproachable. We don 't drink so can 't comment on the Alcohol questions. The service we have received in all circumstances has been most professional and we look forward to being able to visit again.

Don't hesitate for a minute ... it was well worth the 3 hour drive from Zurich, 45 minutes from Lausanne. This gem of a restaurant, tucked away in the small knoll, has one of the finest chefs in the region. The menu ... to die for. Wine list that boggles the mind. And, if you can, stay the night in the hotel. The best part only continues for breakfast. Michelin starred and well worth it.

Went here for a wedding dinner and had one of the best dinners I have had! The service, the atmosphere and the food and presentation were superb. The Morels in a sauce was incredible. The cheese selection was outstanding. Well worth the drive!

Just wow. It was a wonderful night with the most exquisite food. The best part was the dessert with was very smooth, just perfectly sweet. Will definitely return and recommend. Regards to the chef.

Average food for a Michelen star restaurant. No mix of flavors. The atmosphere is very nice though and the staff is very friendly
