It is only from time to time one comes across a superb restaurant. These chance finds are rare, as very few restaurants are so friendly, provide an efficient service, and are passionate about the cooking and presentation. We were back this evening second time round and the food and service were impressive, despite the restaurant being full. The home made duck fois gras was kobster was the tour de force, but the steak was also cooked exactly right. À point was à point and saignant was exactly that too. The quality of the meat was very good and was tasty. The fish was also perfect. The desserts were nice but the tiramisù could be less runny.

There are plenty of restaurants with a sea view if that's what you're looking for. But if the food is more important to you than the view, then this is a wonderful bistro, near the market, with tables outside. Great selection of fresh seafood my friends had the mussels, the sole, and the turbot, all superb. I had chicken with langoustines (like baby lobsters) in a wonderful sauce. Everything we tried, from the appetizers to the desserts, was delicious and inventive. The prices are very reasonable, especially at lunch. Friendly, casual service. We liked this place so much, we went back the next evening too! Highly recommended.

As a vegetarian, I tend to judge restaurants most on their flexibility and inventiveness. I found the food here quite good, but I wouldn't say that they knocked themselves out to accommodate the non-meat eaters in the crowd. French cuisine is quite oriented toward carnivores so I am myself always willing to make do with a collection of side dishes and soups. This restaurant didn't disappoint in that vein, and I felt it was quite good. My dinner companions were quite delighted by their meals, their wine and the service as well.

Went here on a cold damp Tuesday night. Warm welcome but very lucky one of our group had enough French to translate the menu or it would have been a long session on Google translate. Had the Veal chop which was excellent. Good cognac meant an excellent night's sleep after a long days travelling. Not especially cheap but definitely worth a visit.
