This restaurant has incredible views from a terrace set right on the most beautiful part of the river. It is one of the loveliest places I have ever seen. The town itself is limited, and the few open restaurants that exist (for lunch, at least are overly crowded. Plus, the town itself (basically 2 streets is nothing to write home about, in general--you are there for the scenery, so choose this resto. When we arrived in the morning for a day trip from Paris, nothing was open. (This was a Tuesday in October--weekends during high season may be different. All I wanted was a cup of coffee. Very relaxed and great food. Table for eight overlooking river swans, bubbling waters, clinking of glasses. Meals range from steaks medium/rare to grade salads to salmon. Started with rustic duck pate and a goats cheese salad, excellent. Wine and beers did not disappoint. Despite a full house we got prompt and personal service. Shout out to my dessert: the Colonel, a citron sorbet with lime zest served on a wine glass with vodka amazing. Great atmosphere in top location. Sociable tables on our night added to party atmosphere. Tip: talk to neighbouring tables, even in broken French. So welcoming.

Staff brillient. Very attentive. The martini cocktails were delicious and we went on the first day and just had a cocktail viewing the river, the weir, the old mill and bridge. We booked for dinner for the Thursday (be aware they do not open on Wednesdays), it was superb, we had poached egg with cheese sauce to start (You may think this a bit weird but take the risk). The duck confit and steak o poive was to die for. Take the waiters recommendation on red wine, it was not cheap but it was delicious. All in a beautiful setting

I've eaten here and the food is good. The place is located in one of the best places in Moret. It's almost never open when I pass, which is often. If you are lucky enough to find it open on a sunny day it's great to be on the deck looking over tje Loing towards one of Sisleys great views.
