Le Bistrot du Marin

a rather disappointing lunch. the service was intentional. the makrele of my wife was overcooked. my filet de st pierre was quite tasteless. how fresh was it? this was the menu at €20.50 with starter main course, with a offer of €4.00 for the st pierre. john dory. In view of the quality/prix ratio, this was quite overpriced. there are many other restaurants in the opposite that offer much more worth. try them le quai before the harbour in la trinité. the same price back, but always better.

We had an excellent dinner selected from the menu d' jour. The sardine rilletes centre followed by the whole mackerel with blanc beurre sauce, saffron potatoes and a delicious onion ratatouille were really good as were our desserts. Nice decking area overlooking the harbour and...prompt service, helped by the fact that the waiter spoke good English. Our meal for two with a bottle of wine was an extremely reasonable 70 euro. No hesitation in recommending.

good, solid fare that was served quickly and with good humor. near the marina so comfortable. there are other places to eat in trinite that will pay back a bit more exploration, but they wouldn't go wrong when they stumble in le bistro du marin

Oysters not well opened -a few not eatable ! fish of the day (St-Pierre) was far from being well prepared Tiramisu made w/o Mascarpone. Overall, to avoid if you want to eat fish! A few others quite better in surroundings

we loved le bistrot du marin, very friendly staff with a great menu weinkarte. they saw the side with very good views of the marina go and enjoy.
