We booked a table for dinner by making a trail around Isère val, the server managed to find a table available, it was unexpected! I can only advise you to do the same! What a treat! The meal is cooked by the star chef and his colleague who saw him at work in the kitchen present directly in the restaurant... the whole meal was so good that we were able to book for the next night, with a change of map, I was able to eat the best dessert of my life: the floating island with apricots! and you doubt that, cooked by a star chef, you are far from a classic floating island! I still remember the taste two months after we thank the waitress, waitress and our two brilliant cooks! we will return again w...

We had a very enjoyable and delicious lunch in the Bistrot we weren't up for the delights of the gastronomic L'Atelier upstairs and this was an excellent, casual alternative. With three glasses of wine, coffee and tea the bill was EUR89 which is good value for the area. The menu looks a bit limited but there's enough choice for most tastes and what there is is not fancy but very tasty and substantial. Service is friendly, and watching the food being prepared is fun as well.

We went only to the Bistro which is a café style place. You can definitely keep your boots on if you want to go back up to Fornet after lunch. Interesting menu which initially looked limiting with children in our party (13/10/6/4) but in fact they all enjoyed it. Food delivered in almost tiffin like pots and all together but carefully done and very tasty. Intrigued to explore the proper restaurant...

A three course meal for around €30 is hard to do anywhere in Val d'Isere, let alone in a restaurant that has a two michelin starred chef! The food in the bistrot at lunch comes from a set menu, giving you three choices for starters, mains and deserts all served semi deconstructed in little pots. If you like slow cooked meat, you'll be in heaven!
