We arrived in Limoges quite late and decided to explore the town and find somewhere to have dinner. After walking around we stumbled upon Le Bistrot Jourdan and we were so impressed. The food was delicious and the staff were so attentive, and all of this in such a nice and typical French setting. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody visiting the area.
After walking Limoges we choose this restaurant near to our hotel. It was a Thursday night so fairly quiet.There is a reasonable selection on the menu. We skipped started and went straight for mains. Entrecote Limousine and Broch Boeuf Girolles. The entrecote although nice once my wife got to the middle, the outside was very fatty. It's a good average restaurant.
This cosy restaurant/brasserie is located near the train station and outside the old town. The food was delicious, the portions were good and the prices were reasonable. We each had the €24 menu and we enjoyed all the courses. This is a great dinner option for Limoges - especially on a Monday night when most of the other restaurants are closed.
The title rather says it all. A varied and comprehensive menu, well cooked. The buzzy atmosphere matches ones expectation of a "bistro" with excellent service from enthusiastic professionals. Finally, good value for money. Book a table now
Really good restaurant. Friendly and tres typique. Beef is what one should go for here and in good Limousin restaurants. The wine was very good here as well, a great red that went with the meal perfectly.
I've eaten here several times and always had a good meal at a reasonable price. The location is good for train Travellers as it's an easy walk from the train station.
