Meilleur restaurant de la station, on y est accueilli dans une ambiance chaleureuse, l'équipe semble former une grande famille. Que ce soit pour prendre un verre ou manger, on se régale sur la grande terrasse abritée du vent ou à l'intérieur par temps de neige. Que dire des plats ! Jérôme et Jérémie assurent en cuisine et nous proposent des plats typiques, généreux, excellents et surtout, fait maison. Vos plats vous sont envoyés sans délais et avec le sourire. En bref, une belle parenthèse dans votre journée de ride, une étape incontournable sur Châtel. Par contre, point d'attention : méfiez-vous, si vous y aller une fois, vous y retournerez à coup sûr
We spotted this from the lift tucked away, looked perfect. How wrong we were. The place was half empty (mainly as groups left due to poor service and attitude) yet they were turning people away who only wanted a drink. The owner (I...assume) was best described as gruff. The menu had only half of the dishes available. I opted for the salad which was completely drenched in vinaigrette and so despite being a veggie tucked into my partners omlette avec lardons. Don't be fooled by its position and look worst place we've eaten in Portes de Soleil.
We waited half an hour before even receiving a menu. There were not enough servers but those that were there were concentrating on a few tables and ignoring the rest. Half an hour later, so an hour after sitting down we had not even had a drink. When we pointed this out, politely in our best English way, there was no apology just a shrug of the shoulders. I have been skiing for many years and I know how busy these restaurants can be but there was no excuse for this.
We stopped here for a mid-morning coffee break and enjoyed it so much we went back for lunch. We were not disappointed, it is a small slope side restaurant with attentive service, a lovely vibe and fantastic hearty food which we couldn't finish. I had...the tartiflette and my friend had the croutes, both were absolutely gorgeous and came with a lovely rustic bread which we were disappointed not to be able to eat. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed a fondue as a family in the famous Blattin cabin! We loved the atmosphere, the very polite, friendly team who did absolutely everything to ensure that we had a great time. The fondue is to die for! We highly recommend the cabin experience! You return to the slopes warmed up and with a full stomach! A big thank you to the team
A beautiful discovery! Beautiful viewpoint, typical and warm atmosphere inside. It’s good, it’s home and the welcome is at the top! 2 lunches a week including the great experience of the melted Cabin. Recommended reservations! Copious and not too expensive meals for an altitude restaurant! Servers and the boss are present and cool! The meal was very good part s) of the butcher. Rare at altitude! Think about booking at the first ski descent!!!

Super reception of the team on site; The kitchen is very good, there is a good choice of drinks, and the place is super clean! From far the best place to take a break on the Châtel estate.
