My partner and I went in to make a dinner reservation as we had previously enjoyed dinner there a couple of years ago, however this time we were laughed at and “the boss” was laughing amongst his colleagues after we were asked to leave. We were still wearing ski attire as we were on the way back to our hotel, so we popped in to make a reservation for another night. They came across as very arrogant and made us feel very belittled/discriminated based on our appearance. We won’t be going again.
This review is only for the restaurant not the hotel, but the eating experience was less than we expected. Food is expensive and good quality, but would expect more finesse from such an establishment. When we booked a table we were advised we could use the pool, but on arrival were told it was only for guests with 4 kids in tow the pool was a major reason for the visit. Shame, as it has great potential...
Had a very enjoyable evening at Le Blizzard. The food was amazing but the most impressive dish was the veal for two which was so massive that it looked liked something out of the Flintstones but was also cooked to perfection. Desserts were also perfect and considering the quality, it was very good value. Service was perfect.
Excellent service, fast and efficient. Friendly sommelier,Stephen, remembered us and the wine we had after 2 days.
