"Went here for lunch twice while in Corte. Very pleasant service both times, great salads, reasonably priced wines. Better by far than anything else we tried in the area."

We made a day trip to Corte from Ajaccio, wandered around, and found this place. And then we feasted. I had huge pizza with olives and tuna and capers--it has since inspired us to make our own pizzas at home, and to incorporate tuna and capers into our meals more frequently. She had pasta bolognese. We had a liter of wine and took our time. It was a great, leisurely lunch. The bill was roughly $35. We were both amazed by how small the bill was given how much we ate and drank, and how long we lingered. Of all the meals we had on our trip, this was one of the most simple, relaxed, and most memorable. note that this review is for June 2015, but for the longest time I couldn't remember the name...

I had a menu consisting of fish soup, cannelloni brocciu and mint, my partner had herbs tart (a bit undercooked but ok) and a typical Corsican pork belly stew. The menus included Corsican cheese and dessert. For desserts we took Fiadone and chestnuts flan. 2 small beers and big bottle of sparkling water. Food was good, the service was friendly and effective. Portions were also good. There are two things that I really loved about this place: 1. Sitting under the shade of that big ancient tree (no need of AC) 2. Despite Corte is a touristic place, we were never rushed at all. I would come back again when in Corte.

I took an menu, a starter with Charcuttery and the Swine meat. The menu was very good, there is a lot of bread available. My son took a pizza, it was very large, but the bottom was quite soft. I took 0,25 cl of house wine, the price of 50cl is the same as twice the 0,25 cc (4 Euro).
