Two of us had lunch here in August. The cost was 12.50 euros per person, including wine and coffee. It is a help-yourself buffet. All the food was freshly prepared/cooked. There was 2 or 3 main dishes, a large variety of starters, cheese and desserts. The food was very good and the staff were very friendly. The place was packed with locals and the odd tourist like us. It is excellent for decent food, to be eaten at one's own pace. Fantastic value for money too.

eating in Brittany restaurants was generally an overly expensive and disappointing experience until we discovered the lunches of le boued cafe. it is always very busy not surprising as it is on an excellent, varied, they help themselves choose the dishes freshly prepared by...the friendly and welcoming owners. highly recommended!
