Le Brise Lames - Table reservation

We had a couple of spare hours before ferry check in time and went off looking for lunch in Roscoff. Found this restaurant opposite a convenient car park. Asked whether we had a reservation, had to say no, but allowed to eat outside under the...awning because the interior was booked out.... a message? Yes, we chose the dishes of the day for each course and were amazed at the quality and brilliant presentation of each of the dishes. Smoked salmon followed by Hake and rounded off with an excellent Rum baba with strawberries. We had a delicious lunch here. We had the set menu of the day which was good value either two courses for or three for I had butternut squash veloute with poached egg followed by haddock with a variety of vegetables on couscous....The restaurant was busy and many were turned away so would advise booking

Since our last visit last year there were new faces in the kitchen.The presentation as always looked good on the plate but the flavours of the ingredients did not shine through.The vegetables were steamed but too much. The sauces were bland. Starters and Desserts were...best

Had lunch here before boarding the Roscoff Plymouth ferry. The food was absolutely delicious and well presented. We both had the lunch menu of the day courses for less than each. Great flavours and good sized portions. This will our place to...visit when in Roscoff again

Le Brise was recommended to us by English foodie friends. What an unassuming and delicious surprise of a place. The dishes were creative, beautiful and delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant in this lovely French coastal town
