Hands Down the Best Pizza I ever had!!!This little place was recommended by the pool attendant of the hotel we were staying at in Rivière-du-Loup. When he mentioned the name of the restaurant, we looked at him like he was crazy. A Chinese restaurant for Pizza?? "No," he said, "I know that it sounds like a Chinese restaurant, but it's not. It has a funny name, but the BEST pizza!" He was right!!!To top it off, the decor thrilled our daughters. Hanging from the vaulted ceiling was a dragon cradling two orbs in his claws that helped light the room. All around the room, there were posters of knights and firey dragons. It still had the feel of a pizza and fries joint, but with a splash of fantasy...

A plain cheese pizza was $21, which seems to be the going price in Rivière du Loup, though I don't understand why people pay so much for a mediocre pizza. We drove all the way across town from the river hotel to find the sorriest cold pasta and pizza buffet I've seen. We ordered a pizza cooked fresh, but it was bland and just OK, with a sweet tomato sauce and sweet doughy crust. Kids loved it that way, so it was fine from that perspective. The waitress was sweet and didn't speak much English, but my college French got us by. My daughter loved the dragon lamp and took pictures, but it was not the warm atmosphere it strived to be. At least it was not a chain, and it was definitely a unique gli...

we came for the buffet (based on reviews here,) and let us be disappointed. the one positive was the service that the waitress was super nice. the buffet was awesome. fried food galore including pizza, chicken fingers, chicken wings (of poor quality,) wobble rings, etc. there were...some bland pata with tomato sauce and similarly mediocre lasagne. the salatable was also bad, not really unique taste, and the dressings were all the strength of flake. even the 'homemade fudge' was sugary and cheap. the price was also a bit annoying. they counted children over 10 years old as adult, so it cost for two families of 10, it costs $160 (including a class of cheap red wine, and three of the worst caes...

We came for the buffet (based on reviews here), and left disappointed. The one positive was the service - the waitress was super-nice. However, the buffet was atrocious. Fried foods galore including pizza, chicken fingers, chicken wings (of poor quality), onion rings, etc. There was some bland pasta with tomato sauce and similarly mediocre lasagna. The salad bar was also poor - no real unique tastes, and the dressings were all Kraft from bottles. Even the 'homemade fudge' was sugary and cheap. The price was also a bit outrageous. Despite the improbable name, the restaurant is not a Chinese restaurant but rather a local Quebecois style diner that serves good pizza, quickly and with
