Had a little over an hour before tour of Versailles. This place has outside seating in the shade, as well as indoor. Our party of 6 joined several others. Some groups got menus...other groups had menus and drinks. We asked waiter and were acknowledged. He then went on to attend to many others...leaving us waiting. We went across street and got our own menu. We then noticed both waiters clearing tables...and we still waiting for a drink. He then came by and we hoped he would take our drink order, but instead acknowledged us again ...and took the food order of another table that already had drinks. We got up and left. We saw another couple from our group sitting 2 restaurants down...they also...
We needed something quick before going to the Palace of Versailles. As you approach the palace this is on the street to the right. Very convenient, good service (even though they were very busy) and a good burger. A small tip for you: a couple of shops near this restaurant sell tickets to Versailles. If there is a ticket line this will save you time. Even though we did buy tickets from them, we still had a long wait in line because security screening takes time.
You can't beat the location. We walked across the street from our tour of Versailles and had lunch in the park under the trees. The weather was great and the entertainment was unique -in this case watching the African illegals who were selling souvenirs, run from the police who were chasing them off.The food was horrible. The BBQ burger I had was half raw. Yuck.
Great location near the entrance to Palace of Versaille. There is restaurant and outdoor cafe, we chose the cafe. Tasty 20 Euro tasting menu with appetizer, entree and dessert and cold 10 Euro liter beer. The food was great, especially the escargot and ice cream dessert. Very convenient and affordable place to eat and waitress very fast and friendly.

Very well located coffee. I enjoyed that despite its perfect rental, this place does not abuse in terms of price. I took a coffee and very good croissant and everyone was at euro I recommend to support an establishment that has this philosophy.
Although the outdoor eating area overlooks a large car park for the Palace of Versailles, it was easy to shut that picture out. Excellent for people watching, the restaurant stays open until very late and serves a very varied menu all day.
The waiter wasn't talkative we almost didn't hear "hello", no smile, he was not welcoming despite is attitude the service was fast and the food really good. We both had a hamburger and it was enough.
