le cap mail is literally on the beach. we were welcomed by friendly and professional staff. the menu is traditional and you should be able to find something for everyone. selection is what they should expect in this region. weinlist is somewhat limited. this is not a cheap eating, so ready to pay for the place in addition to the eating. we had risotto gambas and moules. every dish came well cooked and beautifully presented.

2022. we were two adult and two 11 years old. the owner is a coarse pirate type. he raised the appetizers with the main courses. then, when we ordered the wein (ott), he chose the expensive (59e). we ordered the less expensive...one(34e) after my family was finished, he brought my main (10 minutes later). When I complained, he threw us all out and tried to put us on the late head! they want their euro.
Another beautifull summer’s night a Cap Mail. For me being there is almost like being at home coming here for almost over 20 years so I’m probably a little byass. But wow having my feet in the sand and being adressed upon with kindness and...love makes this a true magical place. And in case you are wondering about how the food is? It is exceptionally good.
We have been here numerous times and every time has been great. If you want to find a private beach in this area to spend the day with a couple of loungers, an umbrella to keep off the Cote D'Azur sun and a very good...restaurant right by you on the beach for lunch then you will find it hard to beat Cap Mail. I'm looking forward to my next visit already.
This restaurant is one to really recommend! I don 't know which is better: the freshly made meals with local ingredients, or the lovely (bear foot) service by the Cap Mail family. If you like a place à pieds dans l 'eau with great food in a...pleasant setting, this is the place to go to!

It is a lovely position, the service is excellent , the food ok but nothing exceptional but the bill will make your eyes water relative to everything but the beach front position.
Unbeatable position and ambience but you are paying for that. Food good but not fab. Not good value for money but worth a visit for the whole experience. Pleasant friendly staff.
