Stopped by Casa Nova restaurant after reading some reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. The service great and the people working here were friendly and helpful. My wife chose the Fish soup and said it was the best she ever had. Loaded with Mussels, Large Shrimp, and other types of fish. The wine we chose was from the local area and the price was only 9 euros and it was very good. I went with the 4 cheese Ravioli which was also very good. The only mistake I made was not seeing the board which listed the specials of the day. If I had paid attention I would have ordered the Filet Mignon for 14 euros. Out total bill for two dinners and a 500ml of wine was only 50 euros. Would defin...

Just like others have said: disgusting and expensive. This is a total tourist trap, so I would ignore the other reviews on this page that said they quite enjoyed it. We go away a lot and are used to avoiding these places, but we feel like we've been taken for mugs. The fish wasn't fresh, the shellfish was flavourless and probably not fresh either. As others have said, the rice was reheated which is not only vile, but also dangerous. Two main meals set us back €40. The wine was the only redeeming feature, but it was no better than anywhere else in Marseille. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

It started well, good atmosphere, great for people watching. The Marmite de Pecheur was satisfactory, but the grilled fish came with rice which was burnt and dried out and probably reused. We complained and asked for freshly cooked rice, the waiter 's response was ' this is normal, all the rice is like this, and suggested I use olive oil to make it taste better. What planet is this guy on? Does he think all tourists are stupid? On this basis I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

came here for breakfast and chose the hearty formula that came out from large portions and was very tasty. It consisted of a small glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, 2 slices of French bread with butter, 2 eggs sunny side up, bacon, rusti and salad. I had hot chocolate to drink. The staff was friendly and fast. It is a great place to enjoy some time. Recommended.
