This is a small tabac shop/bar/snack on the village square, the terrace overlooking the town hall. We are really speaking small town France here (i.e. not a lot else going on . The card consists of some smaller bites (pancakes, snails, sandwiches, salads, ... . Visiting this as a last resort, expectations were low. Yet food is good, fresh and ample. Moreover prices are low and service very friendly. Local wines are on offer. Is this a real restaurant: no. But can you get good food when hungry: yes.
They only serve a small selection of pre-prepared food here. I recommend a Croque Monsieur and coffee for breakfast, sitting at an outdoor table watching the world amble by. The staff are friendly, and the place seems popular with cycling groups and other tourists.
