Absolutely fantastic lunch at Le Caveau .... ambiance first class as was the service ... the food was exemplary ... this restaurant was recommended to me by their fish and seafood supplier who happens to be a golfing buddy. He explained that some chefs ask whats cheapest ... Mark the chef/proprietor of Le Caveau always ask whats best !!! Says everything really. I had, on Marks recommendation Scallops starter followed by Turbut and slow cooked shin of beef , dessert was creme brullee. My wife had grilled ballotine of black pudding with chicken and chorizo poached egg and pea veloute followed by the Roast Venison, and cheese board to finish, everything was absolutely amazing We had travelled...
