I'm going to this restaurant for about 9 years now and it is still a great pleasure to come back everytime I'm around Frejus. The location is great. You can eat outside enjoying the sunset on the tiny harbor of Frejus, while sitting in a classy and relaxed atmosphere. Then comes the food. I became vegetarian a long time ago and I know that they serve there really good home made pastas. If you are lucky enough the see the ones with the creamy sauce with cepes or morilles, go for it; If you like mushrooms, you'll be pleased. Although they serve fresh fish, their speciality, the rest worth a try. Regarding the desserts, the pastry chef will give to your senses a nice travel of sweetness and ligh...

We had passed by The Ceaser during a visit to Frejus Port in the summer of 2015 and we decided if we could we would eat there in 2016. We did so and we were not disappointed. On the evening of Sunday 28th August we returned. Sadly not having a reservation (next time we will have reserved) we were unable to get an outside table. However the table we did have, number 17, was almost outside inside. The staff were very friendly and warm. As I mentioned to my wife, "the owner was aware of every guest and was not just watching the staff"We started with the house cocktail, rosè wine with peach €4.50 which was very refreshing. I chose the Spaghetti with saint Jacques €24.50 my wife the Risotto also w...

I went with my wife as a birthday celebration on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy but this didn't affect the service at all. I found the service and warmth of the welcome very good and we had a perfect table overlooking the port. The overall ambience was befitting a restaurant of this calibre. Decent portions of good quality and well presented food. The wine was priced realistically for this part of France and a restaurant of this position. The food was very good but not exceptional. the overall experience was very positive from our point of view and we will return.

We have visited Le Cesar several times and I have been always happy with our experience. The place has been busy, but we have often been able to get a table for 4-5 persons. The service is perhaps a bit impersonal, but the staff is friendly and efficient. Food seems to come out of the kitchen at a fairly steady quality level to our experience. The scallop tartar starter was especially memorable.

Had both lunch and dinner here on a recent trip and the food certainly matched the harbour views. Each time went we settled on the set menu which was really good value and something for every taste. The service was friendly and helpful, if you are passing by and want a treat stop and try I think you will enjoy the spot.

Indeed good and expensive menu, but the worst ever service: they pretend they don't speak English, they forget what you've asked them for, they don't even try to be polite. If you want your evening to be spoiled - this is your place

The food in this restaurant was awful. It should be forbidden to call pasta drawn in cream spaghettis. An offense to anyone that has ever tried italian food. Completely overprised. Book a table now

My husband ate oysters and was ill afterwards - he had not been drinking. The staff are very pretentious and snooty
