This is one of several eateries located on the edge of the most stunning lake, sadly its the first you come to, and you cannot see the others, but trust me, they are there, so drive past this one. We arrived around 1.30pm, sat ourselves...down, and started looking at the menu. The staff walked past us several times, once asking the dogs if they needed a drink, but not us! Some 40 minutes after we arrived, and having received placemats and cutlery, but still no offer of drinks the waitress finally asked us what we wanted to order. Drinks, and main courses ordered, we were hopeful. The place was steady, but not busy, most tables had dirty crockery waiting to be cleared. nearly 45 minutes after...
What to say, this place is beautiful. We spent a night in a room with lake view. the atmosphere of this hotel is amazing, the meal included in the room price was very typical, at the good franquette. We were received as kings. Lunch is also very good. there is not a lot of network up there, so warn your loved ones before leaving the valley that you are injoinable. but it adds charm to the global experience. a small notebook with proposals for hiking is present in the room.
An overwhelming view of the reservoir, with the rugged Alpine mountains all around. Quiet in the late season. Friendly staff. The prices for a small lunch are completely ridiculous. I was allowed to pay €30.00 for one capuccino, one salad and half a liter of still water.
Very nice place with an idyllic frame, smiling and charming team, we eat very well, all is good and homemade. Thought to book in advance to be sure to be able to eat there, it always finds a solution to satisfy us....
