that is one of three restaurants in the outskirts of la clusaz and we were recommended for a traditional fondue. food (eur 30 per person with wein) so we decided to use a fondue savoiry made with 100% by...Comté cheese. as part of Swiss we make the fondue in the Swiss with gruyère and vacherin cheese somewhat different. this made a difference in my opinion, as the fondue did not melt very well and had a problem of resistance during dinner. Although this did not influence the fact that we forced them to destroy, I think it was annoying and maybe it is partly the fault of the restaurant, as the preparation was 't perfect. In addition, we also had a plate of charcuterie, which was good to share...
the place lies directly above a small lake in the beautiful aravis mountains. the location is charming and the service was fantastic and we were greeted with a smile. the menu consists perfectly of food from local ingredients. her tartiflette is wonderful. and by far the best I cost in the mountains. it is served with a beautiful salat and the taste of the salat, as well as the tartiflette, is intense, but tender the place was worth the 50-minute drive from annecy and we will certainly come back, we should be in the neighborhood.
This is a fantastic place, food is amazing and the children can play in the wigwam which is an adventure! Looking forward to going back in the summer. Not sure if it was because we were in English but the manager couldn't even look at...us when paying which was a shame and maybe he had a bad day. The waitress was excellent! Hopefully next time I can report that the incident was a one off : two couples five kids and a nanny €470 drank really nice wine
