What a beautiful, romantic, quiet, modern yet authentic restaurant Chalet du Loup is! Based at the end of a 500 m track through the woods CdL offers a little bit of Courchevel in als Feclaz le Revard. With a menu comprising of modern savoy dishes plus (and that’s a life add on) some different items than the croziflet, tartiflette or fondue too. The deserts are to die for, service is not too quick and not too slow, giving you that feeling of being out. Mobile phone reception is very feeble so you might as well leave it at home and have an old fashioned chat with your lunch or dinner partner.

Had lunch here. It was a lovely tasty lunch with a great atmosphere. Definately necessary to book. We enquired about taking our dog and they said no “for the comfort of their customers”. Turns out there were dogs in there as expected! Huge inconvenience when you want to take a dog to le Revard on a day out and you have to make other plans! You either do or you don’t not one rule for one person and another rule for someone else! Kir served in a wine glass too is a bit odd as they aren’t cheap. Anyhow, all in all a good lunch.

We really weren’t impressed with this place. OK yes it looks wonderful in the snow, all very pretty but unless the food is up to scratch then it just doesn’t work. The deposit necessary to secure a table is OTT so expected a lot. The food is grossly overpriced for what it is. The Kir could have been more sparkling sadly. The restaurant was also quite cold. By the time we left we were all quite chilly. Sadly for the money we won’t be back. Redcue your prices according to your standard of service and food.
