when they drive from chamonix to annecy, take this route instead of the main road. it is on a mountain peak in a beautiful picturesque location with meadows and mountains around. we asked for vegetarian food and were served with duo brebis and dessert. eating was the best we had in France. the dame has been lovingly brought to us feeling like home and fulfilling our culinary needs in the midst of the language application. they said we were their first guests india, and we were quite proud of it! they missed this place and the natives not when they are around them.
If you're ever in Col de Aravis, stop and get a delicious authentic home cooked meal of the region at Chalet Savoyard. The tartiflette, fondue, and a variety of platters which are served with delicious potato pancakes, and fresh cheeses are quite pleasant after a...days hike. And the scenery is spectacular. Highly recommend this restaurant for fresh regional specialties.
restaurant à ne pas louper, décos montagnarde au pied des montagnes, vue exceptionnelle sur le Mont blanc. Restaurant tenue par la maman et ses enfants d'où une ambiance familiale. Plats excellents fait maison. Rapport qualité prix rien à dire. Petit verre de génépi pour finir offert par le patron. Très belle rencontre entre Normands et savoyards
Arret au col des aravis obligatoire et ce restaurant est parfait pour cela. la cuisine y est bonne, la terrasse est super agreable, le service rapide et acceuillant! le barman est juste top ( petite poire fort goutu ).Meme a 11 personne avec une poussette tout etait niquel merci pour le bon moment

Très bon accueil, terrasse au sommet du col des Aravis, vue sur le Mt Blanc , burger maison avec croquettes de pommes de terres , raviolles , côtes de veau bref une super carte de produits frais à un tarif correct . Accueil motards.Jacques.
Cadre delicieusement authentique, acceuil tres convivial, une cuisine du pays simple et savoureuse, tout ce que j'aime pour me sentir bien en vacances. A faire absolument et a refaire...nous y sommes alles 3 fois !!!
Good food, excellent setting and extremely friendly service saved me while going around the cols of Savoie. Tortellonis with mushroom sauce were fantastically good.
good location, nice young people who run it. eating is also quite good local things. cozy interieur, has an authentic feeling
