We sat outside in the sunshine looking over the village square on what was Mothers Day in France. We chose the €20 menu, but even though it was a Sunday there were quite a few alternatives we could have chosen. The starter was a beautiful, light quiche with goats' cheese and vegetable filling with a mixed salad, and our main course was a large piece of grilled lamb, with garlic butter, polenta wedges and green beans with a salad garnish. An amply filled bread basket was on the table and a large carafe of water. We chose to accompany our meal with a 250ml carafe of rosé wine, well within the limits for the driver, at under a glass each. The superb dessert was strawberry coulis on vanilla ice...

This is a wonderful, friendly restaurant with a warm welcome for everyone but especially children, in the square of a gorgeous conservation village. Well worth a visit for a coffee or a meal or drink. On a sunny day you can sit outside and watch the world go by or if the weather is bad the inside is beautifully decorated and appealing. The food is a mixture of local delicacies and dishes inspired from the chef's Austrian backround. During the peak season the village runs flower markets, vide grenier and music events during the weekends giving the visitor an extra reason to go back again and again.

We have been here many times and it always is a delight. The food is fresh and an original take on this region's french cuisine. The service is wonderful and the staff very friendly. Also they speak English and German fluently. Near to Revel and Toulouse and the village offers great views and charming walks for after meals.

Simple menu at very reasonable prices Fresh food, local dishes, wine from the region, German beer, and snaps over priced. Super service, family friendly, they speak 3 different languages. In Short: a great place in a super setting, i'd say: go for it! Life Jazz at the neighbors during the weekends.
